Tour plan

Day 01
Giza Pyramids, Camel Ride & ATV Adventure

Your Egyptologist guide picks you up early (recommended 7:00–7:30 AM) to beat the crowds and the heat. Every stop below is included in your experience — no extras, no surprises.

Stop 1 | The Great Pyramid of Khufu • 2 Hours · Admission Included

The Last Standing Wonder of the Ancient World

Built over 4,500 years ago using more than 2.3 million stone blocks — each weighing up to 80 tonnes — the Great Pyramid of Khufu is the oldest and largest of the Giza complex, and the only surviving Wonder of the original Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

Standing at its base, you feel it before you understand it. The sheer scale is staggering. How did a civilization with no modern machinery quarry, transport, and stack these blocks with millimetre precision? That question has fascinated explorers, scientists, and archaeologists for centuries — and today, it is yours to ask.

Your private Egyptologist guide will reveal the engineering secrets behind its construction, the mysteries still unsolved inside its chambers, and the astronomical alignment that points it perfectly toward the North Star. This is not just sightseeing — this is standing face-to-face with genius that has endured for millennia.

Photography tip: Perfect for wide-angle shots and that iconic 'hands pushing the pyramid' perspective.

Stop 2 | Pyramid Complex of Khafre • 45 Minutes · Admission Included

The One That Still Wears Its Crown

The Pyramid of Khafre is the second-largest at Giza — and if you look carefully at its peak, you will still see a cap of the original smooth white limestone casing that once covered all three pyramids, making them gleam like mirrors in the desert sun.

Khafre was the son of Khufu, and he built his pyramid on a raised plateau — an architectural illusion that makes it appear taller than his father's. Your guide will explain this clever visual trick, along with the complex of mortuary temples, causeways, and ritual spaces that surrounded each pyramid as part of a complete funerary city.

Photography tip: The most dramatic backdrop for photography — with the Sphinx temple visible in the valley below.

Stop 3 | Inside the Pyramid of Menkaure • 60 Minutes · Entry Included

Descend Into 4,500 Years of Silence

This is the experience that most tours do not include — and the one guests remember most.

The Pyramid of Menkaure is the smallest of the three Giza pyramids, but what it offers inside is extraordinary: a descending passage carved directly into the bedrock, leading to the king's burial chamber deep within the heart of the pyramid.

You will crouch through a narrow corridor, stone pressing close on either side, the air thick with the weight of thousands of years. Then suddenly the passage opens — and you are standing in a chamber that has held secrets since the reign of the Pharaohs. Your guide will bring this moment to life, telling the story of Menkaure, his queens, and what archaeologists discovered when they first entered this sealed space in modern times.

This is Egypt at its most raw, most real, and most extraordinary.

Note: Entry inside the Great Pyramid of Khufu (1st Pyramid) is available as an optional upgrade on-site (~$30/person).

Stop 4 | Valley Temple of Khafre • 45 Minutes · Admission Included

Where Pharaohs Were Prepared for Eternity

Connected to the Great Sphinx by an ancient causeway, the Valley Temple of Khafre is one of the best-preserved ancient Egyptian temples in existence. Built from enormous blocks of pink Aswan granite — each weighing hundreds of tonnes — this temple served as the place where the pharaoh's body was ritually cleansed and prepared before being sealed in his pyramid forever.

Standing inside, the walls rise above you in massive silent slabs. The chambers are austere, powerful, and deeply atmospheric. Your guide will explain the 70-day mummification process, the role of priests, and the religious beliefs that drove the Egyptians to build on such an incredible scale.

Stop 5 | The Great Sphinx • 45 Minutes · Admission Included

Guardian of Giza — The World's Largest Ancient Sculpture

Nothing prepares you for the Sphinx.

Carved directly from a single ridge of natural limestone, the Great Sphinx of Giza measures 73 metres long and 20 metres high — the largest monolithic statue on Earth. With the body of a lion and the face of a king, it has stood guard over the Giza plateau for over 4,500 years, watching empires rise and fall, weathering sand, wind, and time.

Stand before it and feel the presence of something ancient beyond imagination. Your Egyptologist guide will share the ongoing debates about who built it, what secrets may still be buried beneath its paws, and the real story behind the missing nose — it is more surprising than you think.

Photography tip: Best photos from the eastern-facing panoramic viewpoint, with both the Sphinx and the pyramids behind it in a single frame.

Adventure Experiences

🐫 Camel Ride — 45 Minutes

The Way the Pharaohs Saw It — Almost

Climb aboard your camel and step back in time. As your guide leads you across the golden sands of the Giza Plateau, the pyramids rise in the distance like something from another world. There is no road noise here, no rush — just you, the camel, the sand, and one of the greatest views on Earth.

This 45-minute ride takes you to the famous panoramic viewpoint — the spot that photographers and filmmakers have used for decades to capture all three pyramids in a single perfect shot.

Guest tip: The early morning golden hour light makes this ride truly magical — one of the most photographed moments of any Egypt trip.

🐎 Horse Jumping Experience

An Exhilarating Desert Performance

In the shadow of the ancient pyramids, Egypt's finest horses perform a breathtaking display of power and elegance. This traditional jumping experience, performed by skilled local horsemen, is a thrilling spectacle unique to the Giza desert — a blend of horsemanship, culture, and performance that most visitors never experience.

🏍️ ATV Quad Bike Desert Safari — 1 Hour

Full Throttle Around the Pyramids

Hold on tight — because this is where the ancient meets the adrenaline.

Your private ATV safari takes you racing across the open desert surrounding the Giza Plateau, with the pyramids towering above you on every turn. You will cover terrain that tourist coaches never reach — remote dunes, hidden vantage points, and vast open stretches of golden sand where the only thing on the horizon is 4,500-year-old stone.

No experience needed. Your guide will give you a full briefing before you set off, and the route is designed to be thrilling but safe — suitable for first-timers and adventure veterans alike.

Rated by guests as one of the most exciting experiences in all of Egypt.

🍽️ Lunch — Panoramic Restaurant with Pyramid View

Because Even Explorers Need to Eat Well

After a morning of history and an afternoon of adventure, you will sit down to a delicious lunch at a handpicked local restaurant — with floor-to-ceiling windows offering one of the most spectacular views in Cairo: the pyramids and Sphinx rising above the desert, right in front of you.

This is not a rushed buffet or a tourist trap. It is a genuine, relaxed meal — a moment to breathe, reflect, and talk about everything you have just experienced, with one of the world's greatest wonders as your dining companion.
