Tour plan

Day 01
Arrival in Cairo

Private airport transfer to your Cairo hotel.

Day 02
Sakkara, Memphis & Pyramids of Giza

▸ Ancient Memphis: The legendary capital of ancient Egypt during the Old Kingdom, founded by King Menes. An open-air museum displays a colossal statue of Ramses II and the alabaster Sphinx.

▸ Step Pyramid of Djoser at Sakkara: Egypt's oldest stone monument, the Step Pyramid of Djoser (c. 2650 BC) was designed by the genius architect Imhotep. Sakkara is one of Egypt's most important ancient necropolises with over 14 pyramids.

▸ Great Pyramids of Giza & the Sphinx: The last remaining wonder of the ancient world — three iconic royal tombs rising from the Giza Plateau, built over 4,500 years ago. The Great Pyramid of Cheops is the tallest and most colossal structure ever built by human hands.

Day 03
Fly to Aswan — Board Your 5-Star Nile Cruise

Transfer to Cairo Airport and fly to Aswan. Board your deluxe 5-star Nile cruise before lunch. Afternoon Felucca sail around Kitchener's Island and Agha Khan Mausoleum. Nubian Folkloric show on board.

Day 04
Aswan — High Dam, Obelisk & Philae — Sail to Kom Ombo

▸ Aswan High Dam: A modern engineering masterpiece completed in 1970, the Aswan High Dam controls the Nile's floods and generates much of Egypt's electricity. The views of Lake Nasser from the dam are spectacular.

▸ Unfinished Obelisk: A massive ancient obelisk still in its quarry, abandoned due to a crack — the finest surviving example of ancient stone-working techniques.

▸ Temple of Philae: A beautifully restored temple complex on an island in the Nile, dedicated to the goddess Isis. The temples were painstakingly relocated stone-by-stone to save them from rising Nile waters.

▸ Twin Temple of Kom Ombo: A unique double temple perched dramatically above the Nile, equally dedicated to two gods: Sobek the crocodile god and Haroeris (Horus the Elder). An on-site museum displays ancient mummified crocodiles.

Day 05
Temple of Horus at Edfu

▸ Temple of Horus at Edfu: Egypt's best-preserved ancient temple, dedicated to Horus the falcon god. Its towering entrance pylon and detailed reliefs make it one of the most impressive examples of Ptolemaic Egyptian architecture.

Sail to Luxor. Galabya party dinner on board.

Day 06
Luxor West Bank

▸ Valley of the Kings: The royal burial ground of Egypt's most powerful New Kingdom pharaohs, where over 60 decorated tombs have been discovered, including those of Tutankhamun, Ramesses VI, and Thutmosis III.

▸ Colossi of Memnon: Two towering 18-metre statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III that have stood watch over the Theban necropolis for over 3,400 years, now one of Luxor's most photographed landmarks.

▸ Temple of Queen Hatshepsut: The dramatic mortuary temple of ancient Egypt's greatest female ruler, cut into the Theban cliffs at Deir el-Bahari. Queen Hatshepsut ruled Egypt for 20 years and is celebrated as one of its most successful pharaohs.

Belly dance show on board that evening.

Day 07
Luxor East Bank — Drive to Hurghada

Disembark after breakfast.

▸ Karnak Temple Complex: The world's largest ancient religious complex, dedicated to the Theban triad of Amun, Mut, and Khonsu. Its Great Hypostyle Hall — filled with 134 massive columns — is an architectural wonder still awe-inspiring today.

▸ Luxor Temple: Built by Amenhotep III and completed by Ramesses II, this elegant riverside temple was dedicated to the god Amun-Ra. Its towering pylons and soaring columns glow magnificently at night. Drive 3 hours to Hurghada on the Red Sea. Transfer to your resort.

Day 08
Hurghada — Red Sea Days

▸ Red Sea Coral Reefs: The Red Sea is home to some of the most spectacular marine ecosystems on Earth — extraordinary coral gardens, hundreds of tropical fish species, and remarkable underwater visibility. Hurghada's reefs are among the world's top dive destinations.

✦ Optional: Two dives per day with dive guide and equipment, or snorkeling along the barrier reefs. Introductory diving available for beginners.

Fly to Cairo from Hurghada.

▸ Egyptian Museum of Antiquities: Home to over 250,000 artifacts spanning 5,000 years of ancient Egyptian civilization — including the breathtaking Tutankhamun treasure room, royal mummies, and priceless golden jewelry.

▸ Salah El-Din Citadel & Mohamed Ali Mosque: The medieval fortress of Salah El-Din, perched on a Cairo hilltop, offering panoramic city views and housing the stunning Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque — a masterpiece of Ottoman architecture.

▸ Khan el-Khalili Bazaar: Cairo's historic bazaar, established in the 14th century, where labyrinthine alleyways are packed with artisans, goldsmiths, perfumers, and spice merchants. An authentic sensory adventure.

▸ Coptic Cairo — Hanging Church & Ben Ezra Synagogue: One of the oldest churches in Egypt, built atop a Roman fortress gate in Old Cairo. It is the seat of the Coptic Pope and features stunning carved wooden screens and ancient icons.
